The Place de la Bourse and the Water Mirror

The Place de la Bourse is one of the most famous squares in Bordeaux. Built in the 18th century, it is located on the banks of the Garonne River in the historical center of the city.

Surrounded by elegant and symmetrical buildings, it is an example of neoclassical architecture. It is considered one of the most beautiful squares in Europe to this day.

Facing the Place de la Bourse, the Water Mirror is a flagship attraction of the city. Inaugurated in 2006, it is the largest water mirror in the world, covering an area of over 3000m2.
